Lindsborg, Kansas

The gallery holds an extensive collection of fine art from the master. It is a tribute to the beloved Swedish art teacher at Bethany College, the late Birger Sandzen. Here one may find oil and watercolor paintings, prints and woodblocks and more by Sandzen, as well as objects from the gallery's extensive collection and temporary exhibits by featured artists. In the courtyard of this gallery stands a Carl Milles sculpture, 'The Triton', one of only a few to be found in the U.S.. Milles and Sandzen were friends in Sweden, making this an especially important work.
